
SNTMA members who carpool 2 or more days per week and log
their carpool trips in the Sacramento region Commuter Club
are eligible for a $50 per month carpool subsidy. The carpool
must have a minimum of 2 people.
The SNTMA offers up to 12 carpool subsidies per month on a
first come, first serve basis and is limited to 6 subsidies
per carpool per calendar year. In order to enroll in the SNTMA
carpool program the carpool must:
- Provide the SNTMA the names,
work email and employers’ name
of each person in the carpool
- Carpool 2 or more days per week
- Each person in the carpool must log in the Sacramento region

Starting August 1, 2010 SNTMA member employees will be eligible
to apply for a Regional Transit $50 Subsidy to offset the
costs of purchasing a monthly pass on Sacramento Regional
Transit provided they meet the following requirements:
- Not to be combined with any other transit subsidy offered
by your employer
- Must have purchased a monthly Regional Transit pass the
month prior (in this case starting in July 2010)
- Must have logged in the Commuter Club Diary as using Regional
Transit bus or light rail 2 or more days per week (starting
July 2010)
- Number of Regional Transit $50 subsidies awarded per month

The South
Natomas TMA offers up to 10 monthly subsidies of $28 each, or
the full fare, whichever is lower, to member employees for reimbursement
of an Amtrak Capitol Corridor monthly pass or multi-ride ticket.

This program provides employees who rideshare two or more
days per week and experience a mid-day emergency, or who have to work
unexpected overtime, with a free emergency ride home using a taxi or rental car
service up to 6 times per year.
Emergency Ride Home vouchers are accessed through the Commuter
Club.

Bicycle
commuters and enthusiasts employed by South Natomas TMA members are encouraged to register for the Bike Users
Group (BUG). Registration is free. South Natomas TMA sponsors
a Bike to Work Day breakfast and activities, and bike subsidies,
when available. If you would like to be in a BUG select Bike
User Group and “yes” in
the Commuter
Club.

This program is designed to promote cycling for commuting and errands. The SNTMA will award 10 office bikes in 2012 to member companies or Property Managers of SNTMA member companies. Click here for application.

The South Natomas TMA Commuter
Club is a regional ride sharing database.
In the Commuter Club you can find a bike buddy, carpool or vanpool
to share your commute with.

The SNTMA has awarded two Capital Improvements subsidies to property management companies in 2011. The Capital Improvements subsidies are for improvements to properties that will assist SNTMA members with their commutes

TMA staff advocates for improved
transportation services in the South Natomas area through local agency public
hearings, advisory committees and working groups. California has entered a
deregulated era allowing businesses to creatively and voluntarily address
transportation, congestion and parking issues.
