How do you get between home and work? All SNTMA Subsidy Programs are employer provided benefits that are designed for commuting between home and work.

One and done in 2024 One subsidy per person per month allows more program participants, effective January 1, 2024.

Bucks for Bikes The SNTMA has limited funds for twenty-eight Bucks for Bikes subsidies. We are offering up to $500 or 90% of the purchase cost of a new commuter bike, whichever is less for the SNTMA. Complete the application and return it with a bike shop estimate to Stephanie at Stephanie@sntma.org. Electric bike and scooter purchases are eligible. As a condition of funding, recipients must provide a photo of themselves with their new bikes, copies of receipts and will track bike commute usage for one month. The application deadline is 3/29/2024. The Bucks for Bikes application is on our Facebook page and on our website.

$25 Telework Subsidy There are eighty monthly $25 telework subsidies on a first come, first served basis. If you enter ten telework days (miles saved in both directions) in your sacregion511.org trip log, you will be able to hit the redeem button the first two business days of the following month.

Residential Car Charging Station Subsidy There are thirty-six Residential Charger Subsidies, maximum amount $250, available on a first come, first served basis. Charger must have been purchased within 90 days of redeeming the subsidy. Receipts and photo(s) of installed charger must be submitted when redeeming. There is no trip log requirement.

Low Emissions Vehicle Subsidy There are twenty $50 monthly Low Emissions Vehicle subsidies available on a first come, first served basis. If you enter ten round trip or twenty one-way “electric vehicle” commute to workdays in your sacregion511.org trip log, you will be able to click the “redeem” button the first two business days in of the following month. Your vehicle must currently be on the California Clean Air Sticker list to participate. https://ww2.arb.ca.gov/eligible-carpool-sticker-list *Low Emissions Vehicle subsidy participants will still need to initially provide the SNTMA with their vehicle information at Stephanie@sntma.org.

Carpool Subsidy There are twenty-five $50 monthly Carpool subsidies available on a first come, first served basis. If you enter ten round trip or twenty one-way Carpool to workdays in your sacregion511.org trip log, you will be able to click the “redeem” button the first two business days of the following month. *Carpool groups must initially provide the SNTMA with their group’s work contact information at Stephanie@sntma.org

Bike Maintenance and Accessory Subsidy There are six $100 bike Maintenance and Accessory subsidies available every month. Each employee of an SNTMA member company is eligible for one Bike Maintenance & Accessory subsidy per calendar year you enter ten round trip or twenty one-way bike commutes to work in your sacregion511.org trip log, you will be able to hit the “redeem” button when it appears the first two business days of the following month.

Walk Subsidy There are fifteen Walk subsidies available on a first come, first served basis for the calendar year. The Walk subsidy is for walking trips between home and office. Each employee of an SNTMA member company is eligible for one Walk subsidy per calendar year. If you enter ten round trip or twenty -way walk commute to workdays in your sacregion511.org trip log, you will be able to hit the “redeem” button when it appears the first two business days of the following month.  

Transit Subsidy There are five $75 monthly Transit subsidies available on a first come, first served basis. If you enter ten roundtrip or twenty one-way transit commutes to work in your sacregion511.org trip log, you will be able to click the “redeem” button the first two business days of the following then email a copy of your monthly ticket to Stephanie@sntma.org.

Amtrak Subsidy There are two Amtrak subsidies available monthly. The SNTMA Amtrak subsidy is for trips between home and your office in South Natomas. If you enter ten round trip or twenty one-way Amtrak days in your sacregion511.org trip log, you can click the “apply” button appears the first two business days of the following month then email Stephanie@sntma.org a copy Amtrak multi-ride or monthly ticket.

Facebook Monthly Contest Take a photo of or from along your alternative commute (Low Emissions Vehicle, telework, transit, Amtrak, carpool, vanpool, walk, bike) and write a brief description then send it to Stephanie at Stephanie@sntma.org for a chance to win prizes. Each month there are three prize levels: (1) first place prize, $75 gift card (2) second place prizes, $50 gift card (3) third place prizes, $25 gift cards of the winners choosing for a total of 6 possible monthly prizes. Door Dash, iTunes and Amazon gift cards will be emailed to Facebook contest winners. In January 2025, there will be a cash grand prize drawing for the 2024 Monthly Facebook Contest first place winners. The grand prize is $250 and there are two $100 runners up. The grand prize and runners up winners will receive cash at work email address via PayPal.

“Like” the SNTMA on Facebook “Like” the South Natomas TMA Facebook page for the first time before the close of business tomorrow, then email Stephanie@sntma.org to be entered in a $25 Amazon card drawing. You will not be able to win without sending Stephanie@sntma.org an email.

Weekly $25 Amazon Gift Card Drawing for Sacregion511 Trip Log Keepers Whether or not you use an alternative commute mode, all employees of SNTMA member companies, who are registered in Sacregion511.org with their work email and keep a trip log, are automatically entered in our weekly $25 Amazon gift card drawing. There is one winner each week of the month. The gift cards are sent the following month and the recipient’s names are posted on our Facebook page.

Quarterly $10 Amazon gift cards for Top Sacregion511.org Trip Log Keepers Each quarter of the year we send our top 200 Sacregion511.org Trip Log Keepers $10 Amazon gift cards.

Redeeming Subsidies via Sacregion511.org and PayPal The “redeem” button is located below the “my rewards” in your https://sacregion511.org/#/ profile dashboard. You will need ten round trips or twenty one-way trips of the alternative commute mode that you use to redeem the subsidy, for the redeem button to appear in your dashboard. The redeem button is only available during the window to request subsidies which is the first two business days of the new month. One can go back in their Trip Log 5 weeks. The button to redeem March subsidies will be available from 12AM Monday 4/1 Friday and Tuesday 4/2 until 11:59PM.

If all the subsidies have already been claimed, the button to redeem will say “inventory out of stock”. You must be registered with your work email address to participate in SNTMA programs and add your work email address to your PayPal account to receive PayPal payments from the SNTMA. PayPal payments are made mid-month, and you will receive a notification from PayPal once the payment has been made. PayPal accounts accommodate up to 8 email addresses. SNTMA subsidy participants have 30 days to retrieve subsidy payments. No exceptions. If you have questions specific to the SNTMA subsidy request process, contact Stephanie@sntma.org, for questions regarding the database contact the support listed in the site.


2024 Bucks for Bikes

The SNTMA has funds for twenty-eight Bucks for Bikes subsidies. We are offering up to $500 or 90% of the purchase cost of a new commuter bike, whichever is less to the TMA. Complete the attached application and return it with a written estimate to Stephanie at Stephanie@sntma.org. Electric bike and scooter purchases are eligible. As a condition of funding, recipients must provide a photo of themselves with their new bikes, copies of receipts and will track bike commute usage for one month. Failure to comply will make the recipients ineligible for SNTMA programs and benefits until the criteria are met. The second round application deadline is 5/31/2024. One cannot receive both the Bike Maintenance & Accessory and Bucks for Bikes subsidies in the same calendar year. One can only receive a Bucks for Bikes subsidy every 3 years. SNTMA subsidy participants have 30 days to retrieve PayPal subsidy payments. No exceptions. 


Recruiting New SNTMA Board members

The SNTMA is recruiting for new Board members. We are consistently looking for fresh perspectives from our member companies and hope that your company will consider having a representative on the SNTMA Board. The time commitment is a 60 minute Board of Directors meeting the second Wednesday of each month from 8-9AM.
